Prophet’s anniversary Hadith 01

Assalaamu alaikum [Peace be to you],

While some people are clamoring over what to do when someone draws a cartoon or a picture of one of the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-, I decided to contribute in order to show the truth about this great man through some of his own words. In this occasion of the anniversary of the birthday of prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-, I want to celebrate by making a series of Arabic calligraphy artworks featuring some of the wise sayings of the last prophet of the Almighty God.

Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him, taught many important principles and morals. among his sayings:
اتق الله حيثما كنت واتبع السيئة الحسنه تمحها وخالق الناس بخلق حسن
“have taqwa for Allah wherever you are. Follow up a bad deed with a good deed and it will blot it out. And deal with people in a good manner.”

This powerful advice brings together the rights of the God and the rights of His servants (mankind).

:bulletred: First- The Taqwa of the God:

Sometimes wrongly translated as ‘fear’. the word ‘Taqwa’ is much more than that.
Linguistically ‘Taqwa’ means forbearance, fear and abstinence, but in the Islamic terminology, Taqwa has a distinct meaning. Taqwa is a high state of heart, which keeps one conscious of Allah’s presence and His Knowledge, and it motivates him to perform righteous deeds and avoid those, which are forbidden. It means to fear The God because of your actions. Allah is All-Knowing, so He sees when you’re sinning.
The essence of Taqwa is to make a shield (which guards) against God’s anger and punishment. That shield is to obey His commandments and abstain from His punishment.

Taqwa alone is the criterion of greatness in the Sight of the God. Allah said in his final revelation:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the one with most taqwa of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

translation of Qur’anic verse 49:13
the ‘one with most taqwa’ in the above verse is usually translated as:
– most righteous
– best in conduct
– most careful (of his duty)
– most pious

… to be continued in:

I hope this was beneficial.

If I am right, it is from the God almighty. if I am wrong, it is from myself.
