Story

A boy and his dog meet a mysterious man with an unknown past, who forbids himself from drawing a sword.

Sword of the Stranger has a great story to It and is very exciting to watch how it all unfolds.

Art/Animation

The drawing style is awesome and the animation is splendid. The quality of animation just adds to the awesomeness of this movie.

Sound/Music

The background soundtrack is not as amazing as the Animation or the story, but it is still really cool.

Character

The characters are appealing in both the visual and story aspects. What I mean is— that the characters are a great part of the story and play important parts in the events happening in the story, and the design in art and animation of the characters is also awesome. It is fun to see what kind of person these people were, are, and will be. 

Enjoyment

It was and is always fun to watch this movie.. Its one of the most exciting movies I have seen – that is just my opinion though.

Islamic Factor

There are no sexual scenes in this movie, so it is a clean movie from that aspect. I believe they do use some foul language in the movie, so it may not be appropriate for a young child to watch this, because they may want to repeat the words they have heard and that isn’t great. Though it’s not a sexual scene, there is a one questionable scene in this movie where two characters are urinating in the background. It sounds gross, but it’s not as bad as it sounds. Nothing is shown nor does anything bad happen, but it is evident— that is what is happening. Personally, I think this is nothing to be worried about, but I wanted to include that piece of information for anyone that might be offended by it. Sword of the stranger has a lot of bloody violence and is not suitable for young children or anyone who may be offended by violence.

Overall

Overall Sword of the Stranger is an awesome movie and if you are not offended by bloody violence or some bad language, then this anime is for you. It doesn’t have any romantic or sexual scenes which is awesome! Besides that fact, the story is awesome and the animation is splendid. It is truly a masterpiece.
