The story is based on a sort of comical reference, starting with the coach. His name is Toraji Ishida a unlucky kendo instructor who is short on money and short in students.One day, he challenges his former upperclassman, who is also a kendo instructor, to a competition between their female students. Toraji Ishida then gathers and trains a team of five girls.
Art/Animation -The animation/art is in a more shoujo style, so it gives off a good vibe, although the storyline does not really contain much "shoujo-ness" so it could be liked by both genders.
Sound/Music – The music is light, and fluffy, delicate to the ears.
Characters –
Toraji Ishida: Is a kendo coach and also a teacher of politics and economics, at Muroe High School. He lives a life on his paychecks and handouts of food from his students. One day, he is offered a bet with an older kendo teacher,a year supply of sushi! With that is the start of Ishida’s quest to find 5 girls to play on his kendo team.
Tamaki Kawazoe: Is a cheery young girl who thinks kenpo is a chore, do to her father owning a dojo. At first, she refused to join the Kenpo Club (running by Toraji Ishida) but later decided onto to fight off a bully. She is righteousness and does fair play, inspired by her favorite anime.

Enjoyment – The anime is very enjoyable as well as the manga. I enjoyed watching this series and laughed a lot at the incidents that happened. It also expresses team work and friendship. The anime does not contain any mature content and can be loved by all ages and both genders. It’s a really fun anime and it also gets you into the sport!
Islamic Factor – I feel that the anime is very appropriate for Muslims to view. There are no bad scenes what-so-ever. I say that the anime is probably rated PG. There are also no religious scenes and no bad language. Although there are fighting scenes, they contain no blood and are just mainly because of the sport.
Conclusion– I recommend this anime to people who love sport or comedy. I watched this anime subbed on Crunchyroll.com
